Travis Kelce recently came under fire for his behavior at Taylor Swift’s Paris concert (as part of the European leg of her The Eras Tour).

His mistake? He reportedly used a camera flash. The NFL star addressed the controversy on his New Heights podcast (which he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce, whose recent comments about racehorses using steroids created a backlash).

On the podcast, Kelce basically said he did give a “da**” what others thought about his actions, and it appears that his girlfriend doesn’t either.

We say this because Swift and Kelce were recently spotted on a date in Lake Como, Italy. People obtained photos of the couple walking together (and looking very affectionate).

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have proven multiple times that they intend to prioritize their relationship, despite being incredibly busy. They both have demanding careers, but when they can find time to be together, they do it. Their Lake Como getaway has given fans another glimpse into their relationship. After first being spotted walking on the streets, they were later photographed again (with the snaps being obtained by People), taking a boat trip and sharing a kiss.

When they got off the boat, they could be seen walking hand-in-hand, and Kelce held a black umbrella over them as they walked in the rain.

The couple have been spending time together whenever they can, which is something that has previously been reported on. “Taylor is very excited about the opportunities Travis is getting and fully supports him,” a source told Us Weekly earlier this year,”[But] she wants him to be conscious of his schedule. The only issue is making sure they can see each other.”

In March 2024, it was also reported that Swift and Kelce were taking advantage of the break in their busy schedules. “They’re focused on rest and recuperation and relaxing at home and having low-key and chill time together,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “They are enjoying movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed.”

He admitted to his mistake in an interview on his New Heights podcast.

“Oh, you know, the settings on the camera, if it’s dark, it’s going to automatically put the flash on,” he said. “I was just trying to get some good, you know, some good video, some good memories. I don’t give a da**.” His brother, Jason Kelce, also weighed in on the moment, saying, “You probably got great video. The flash makes a big difference,” to which Travis responded, “Did I get clowned for that? Sorry.”

The performance was a big deal for fans. As People noted, it was the 87th of her Eras Tour (the same number as Kelce’s jersey). She reportedly also wore red and gold as a nod to his Kansas City Chiefs team.
