Tom Brady signed up to get roasted in Netflix’s new comedy special, and he certainly had it handed to him during the live production, which saw him become the butt of many jokes.

But one person who didn’t sign up to be criticized on the show was his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, who was made fun of amid rumors she cheated on Tom, which neither of them have confirmed.

However, it appears she didn’t appreciate being mentioned in the special, leading Tom to offer her an apology to try to mend things.

“Gisele and Tom had a ‘no disparaging remarks’ rule when it came to speaking about each other or their marriage and divorce. She is definitely offended and upset about the comments made at the roast,” a source claimed to Us Weekly.

Gisele Was Upset The Roast Mentioned Her New Relationship

“[Gisele] is aware that it comes with the territory of a roast but didn’t think there were going to be that many remarks made about her and especially her new relationship,” the source continued, referring to the model’s new relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

The couple’s relationship apparently turned romantic after he’d been training her for some time, though there’s been questions about the timeline of their relationship, since it seemed to happen so quickly in the wake of her split from Brady. Apparently, mention of her new romance hurt Gisele the most following Tom’s Netflix episode.

“She thinks her new relationship should have been off-limits. Tom did reach out to Gisele to apologize to her,” the insider went on. “They are cordial and only communicate about the kids.”

A second source added to the publication, “Just like with any roast, neither Tom nor any of the participants knew what was going to be said about them.” They continued, “But as with any roast, they target public parts of your life,” the source continued. “Their kids were always off limits. Everything was all in good fun.”

Gisele Has Denied Cheating On Tom Brady

Earlier this year, Gisele addressed rumors her relationship with Joaquim started before her marriage had ended, denying the speculation.

“That is a lie,” she The New York Times. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful. They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course, for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

Tom and Gisele married in 2009 and welcomed two kids during the course of their relationship, though they announced their divorce in 2022, which was finalized relatively quickly thanks to an iron-clad prenup.

It was rumored their marriage ended after Brady unretired from the NFL only months after leaving the league, apparently without consulting his wife. Gisele seemed to confirm speculation in an interview when she said she was done sacrificing her own career to support Brady’s.
