Tom Brady made a life-changing decision last year when he unretired from the NFL, and Gisele Bundchen has since admitted it motivated her to file for divorce.

Now, it appears the athlete’s kids are encouraging him not to “get any ideas” about an NFL return, seeming to refer to the breakdown of Tom and Gisele’s marriage.

Ahead of his New England Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Wednesday, Tom received a heartwarming tribute from his three children—Jack, 16, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.

They created a special video to celebrate their father’s impressive accomplishments in the NFL from 2000 to 2022.

“Hey, Dad. We’re all so excited to be back in Boston this week, and I thought it would be fun to look back on all those amazing years as a Patriot,” Vivian said while photos of the family flashed before viewers.

Her older brother Benjamin added, “Six Superbowl titles, I only remember three of them, but those games are some of my favorite memories.”

“Same here, Benny!” Jack continued. “But I know the rest of the family was there screaming at the top of their lungs during the first three.”

Benjamin them chimed in, “And it wasn’t just rings. MVPs, records and even a few magazine covers along the way.” Vivian added, “You were a superstar.”

“So from Papa, Grandma, all your sisters, nieces, nephews and us, congratulations on your induction to the Patriot’s Hall of Fame,” Benjamin continued. “Just don’t get any ideas when you walk past a locker room tonight.”

Tom, who shared the clip to his Instagram, added a touching caption, “My kids surprised me this morning with this video, and I wanted to share it with my Patriot family too. What a ride. See you tonight New England.”

Gisele Says Tom’s Decision To Unretire Led To Their Divorce

Tom initially retired from the NFL in early 2022 but decided to unretire just 40 days later, rejoining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for another season, despite earning a multi-million dollar sports analyst role with Fox.

This decision reportedly strained his marriage to supermodel Gisele Bündchen, as it disrupted the couple’s plans for his retirement life. Bündchen had publicly expressed her desire for Brady to be more present at home and prioritize their family. His return to football, despite these expectations, contributed to growing tensions and ultimately played a role in their eventual divorce.

“”I’ve done my part, which is [to] be there for [Tom],” Gisele told Elle about their split last year. “I moved to Boston, and I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams.”

“Seeing my children succeed and become the beautiful little humans that they are, seeing him succeed, and being fulfilled in his career—it makes me happy. At this point in my life, I feel like I’ve done a good job on that,” she continued, making it very clear what caused their split – and that she has no regrets.
