Tom Cruise may be one of the most recognizable actors in the world, with his personal life continuing to be a source of speculation.

But his two oldest children, Connor and Isabella Cruise, maintain relatively private lives, which is what makes Tom’s recent photo featuring his kids so noteworthy.

The New Photo Shows Tom Hangs Out With His Adult Kids

An image featuring the Mission: Impossible star recently resurfaced that featured his two adult children in the background. The shot, taken in December 2023 at a hockey game, was posted by retired NFL player Derrick Brooks.

“Good Evening, Wow, look who stopped by my office before our [Tampa Bay Lightning] game tonight! @tomcruise,” Brooks wrote in the caption. “I was a little star struck but played it cool and He said he was too.”

Cruise and his kids offer a thumbs up in the photos as they’re surrounded by Brooks as well as several other attendees.

Tom shares Isabella and Connor with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman. The pair adopted their children after being faced with fertility problems. Nicole and Tom were married for over a decade before their divorce in 2001. But it’s been reported that Kidman’s relationships with their children was strained afterwards, with the actress even admitting Connor and Bella opted to live with their famous father.

While the kids are clearly close to Tom, as evidenced by the new photo making the rounds on socials, fans remain curious about the dynamic between Nicole and her oldest kids. The Big Little Lies star is selective about what she shares, choosing to seldom reference them publicly. This even got her backlash a few years ago, when she mentioned the younger daughters she shares with Keith Urban in an acceptance speech but failed to mention her older children.

However, the actress appeared to give some rare insight into her past relationship with Cruise in a recent interview in which she explained how her past experiences in love have affected her current marriage.

“I was young. I think I offered it up? Maybe I’ve gotten a bit more trepidatious, but I’m always trying to be as open as possible. I just prefer to live in the world that way,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

“I’m wary at times, and I’ve been hurt, but at the same time I much prefer a warm approach rather than a prickly shutdown approach,” she continued. “My husband, Keith, says that when he met me, he said, ‘How’s your heart?’ And I apparently responded, ‘Open.’”

Tom and Nicole were married from 1990 to 2001. After their divorce, she found love with country singer Keith Urban, whom she wed in 2006. Kidman gave birth to their first daughter several years later, despite fertility issues, and they used a surrogate to welcome a second daughter shortly after that.
