Many fans are still wondering when Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will announce an engagement, but it could be sooner than later, a new report suggests.
Speaking to Life & Style, a source claims the high-profile couple already consider themselves “unofficially engaged.”
“They’re very coy on the subject and quick to deny any specifics which is fair enough since they haven’t come up with any yet, but they love to talk in general terms,” they explained.
“It’s something they’ve been doing for a while and the secret is now leaking out.”
People Think They’ll Announce An Engagement Soon
Taylor was previously in a six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, which came to an end early last year. There’s been speculation Taylor wanted to get married, while Joe may have not been on the same page. But reports say Travis is just as keen to tie the knot as the pop star.
“People in the know are saying the common bet is that they’ll be engaged within six months,” the insider went on. “They want it to be a non-pressured, spontaneous moment when it does happen.”
They continued, “They already consider themselves unofficially engaged, they’re both clear they’ve found their person and they love to talk about the future, kids when the time is right and the wedding when it happens.”
Taylor Reportedly Wants A Big Wedding
The source added that there’s one thing Taylor and Travis are still figuring out the details of – the size of their wedding. Given how many famous friends they have, they could make it a huge affair, but the couple remain undecided about how big to go.
“The big discussion when it comes to the wedding is whether they want it to be this massive A-list affair or if they’d be better off keeping it intimate and more down to earth,” they said.
“They both have so many friends and they do love the spotlight so it’s likely they’ll end up going really big with it. Regardless of what they choose there will be a whole lot of big names there, her entire squad, all his NFL buddies, and Prince William and Princess Kate will no doubt make the list too,” the insider went on.
Taylor and Travis recently posed for a selfie with Prince William and his two oldest kids after they attended Swift’s London Eras performance. The sweet moment came after Travis’ brother Jason Kelce made disparaging comments about the royals. But it may be rubbing shoulders with Prince William himself if the reports about Taylor and Travis’ future wedding prove true.
“Of course, the first order of business is a proposal and that’s predicted to happen in the very near future,” the source concluded, giving hope to Swifties everywhere that an engagement is likely on the way.
For now, however, Taylor and Travis have been careful not to comment on the engagement speculation.
